3 things you should embrace 2025 in order to find more peace.

Image
Hey everyone, i know it`s been quite a while since I posted something but I hope all of you started well into the year 2025! Today I wanted to share with you 3 little reminders that can help you to invite more peace in to your daily life. 1. Gratitude I know it seems more than obvious but gratitude is more important than we might think. Gratitude invites us to find joy and peace in our daily life. It awakens our awareness of the present moment ´cause often we focus on our to do´s and future. But how often are we grateful with all that we already achieved? How often do we appreciate the things and people that are actually around us? Often we make the experience that we only miss something or someone when they aren`t around anymore. So... take a breath from time to time and make a list what you currently appreciate in your daily life. Even if it`s `just` a good book, a coffee or a beautiful flower. 2. Self care Self care is something we often forget in our busy lifes. So why not planning...

The secret of overcoming difficult times - Monday Motivation #4

Image
Hello everyone, actually when life gets hard, when external situations and routines change, when we go trough personal lows we often get anxious or sometimes even overwelmed. We get lost in negative thoughts, we get tangeled in panic and we just want to have back the feeling of control.  We start to compare how we felt in the past. Was life better? Easier? Happier? We blame or judge ourselves, we cling to old emotions and memories. Maybe even get a little depressed. Also the feature looks suddenly frightening and unpredictable. How should we manage everything? And this focus on either the past or the future, limits us to actually go through the discomfort, through the pain or fear. We try to suppress and avoid these uncomfortable and painful feelings instead of letting our mind find acceptance and peace with the presence, with reality. If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.” ― Amit Ray Because the secret of staying strong i...

Gratitude - A life long lesson.

Image
Hello everybody, I hope you are all doing well. I just think gratitude is so important to include in our daily life. Gratitude makes us feel alive and happy because we connect with the present moment and with ourselves. Instead of focusing what we do not have and would like to have, we appreciate what is already right in front of us. This way we are able to invite awareness in our life because we take a moment to truly see ourselves and not what is happening around us - we focus on the inside.. With gratitude we learn to accept our past and we let go of the constant necessity to control every situation. We let go of our ego and see ourselves with love and appreciation. We can let go of our shame and regret, we are able to forgive. With gratitude we give life a chance to embrace challenges instead of procrastinate and letting fear rule our life - this let us become a wiser and better version of ourselves. “Be thankful for everything that happens in your life; it’s all an experience.” ...

Mindful sunday #12

Life is short. I mean how often do we really do the things we really want to do? How often do we really say what we feel? How often do we really show our appreciation and love to others?  How often are we thankful? How often do we show our true soul? How often do we want to help? Do something good for others? Be humble, be kind. Life is mystery. Life is constant change. But life is beautiful. Life is deep. Life is a painting of all our experiences, all our memories. So just let every day be a special day - just remember it could be the last one. If you live this way, you can say in the end - life is a gift. The biggest gift.     © Wind of Happiness

How to reduce anxiety. 5 tips

Image
Hello everybody! I hope you are healthy and safe.  Many of us struggle with anxiety, especially in the current time of uncertainty. But anxiety makes us feel helpless and weak and hence tears us away from the present moment. Then we often forget for what we can feel greatful and all our once positive thoughts will disappear in anxiousness. “Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.” ― C. H. Spurgeon So here are my 5 top tips to reduce anxiety: 1. Make yourself clear that you are not your anxious thoughts. Write down everything that makes you feel worried. Like this it gets out of your head and you gonna feel released. 2. Try to take a pause in the moments you are feeling your anxiety. Place your hand at your heart and accept your feelings but tell yourself that everything is alright and that you can feel save. 3. In moments of anxiety try to take deep breaths. Imagine your breath wanders along your body - from your fe...

3 tips how to let go of things that no longer serves you - Monday motivation #3

Image
Hello everybody and happy November! It is incredible how fast time flies. Autumn is the perfect season to let go everything that no longer serves you. Only when you are not afraid of change, you can allow to free yourself of everything that does not bring value anymore or that even make you feel heavy. 1. Write a list with negative and limiting beliefs, emotions or thoughts that do not serve you anymore and burn that list. You will feel so much more free and create space for new things!  2. Declutter your work/living space. Give items away that you did not use the last few months! 3. Do not judge your past. When you identify yourself with your past and painful emotions then you will stay stucked in life and will not embrace growth. Try to change negative habits and replace them with postitive ones! © Wind of Happiness

What nature teaches us - Monday motivation #2

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to a new week! Many researches prove that spending time in nature has a tremendous effect on our mental and physical well-being. Furthermore being in nature makes us more mindful and can so teach us more about ourselves. Through nature we can learn to take a step back from all our stress and see clearly who we are and what we want. “Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” ― John Muir So, whenever you have the opportunities to go for a walk take the chance in order to learn more about yourself! May you be happy and courageous to embrace new adventures!💜  © Wind of Happiness

Life is a precious gift - Monday motivation #1

Image
Life can be hard sometimes. There are happy times - times in which we are flying and in an other very moment there can be dark times - times in which we feel like we are falling. But we should always remember: Life is precious - in every second. It is a gift we are receiving and though we can form and create that gift in a way we want it to be. We can take chances, follow our dreams - we can be honest, kind and love ourselves and others exactly the way they are.  We can be grateful for every day we are living, breathing. Because maybe in this very moment another life is coming to an end. Enjoy life! Show your true YOU to everyone and do not wait for the perfect moment - because the perfect moment is right now!   © Wind of Happiness

Mindful sunday #7

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great sunday. Today I want to share with you 3 tips about how you can deepen and strenghten your relationship in your daily life but also in challenging times. 1. Listen to the other person. And with listen I mean that you really take your time and truly listen to the words of the other person. Often we are caught of the stress of our daily lifes and we do not listen anymore to each other. This can cause misunderstandings and provoke unnecessary fights in your relationship. 2. Speak about something important. That can be your plans, dreams and things you love to do but also about your doubt and fears - just anything that is meaningful for you. This helps to create a better understanding for each other. 3. Be kind and show your appreciation & love every day. This will truly connect your hearts together and you will get day by day more grateful for being with that person rather than judge and blame him/her.   © Wind of Happiness  ...

Mindful sunday #4

Image
Hello everyone on this beautiful sunday! I think specially in this time of distance and isolation we should care the most we can about our loved ones even if they are far away. Just making a compliment or a kind word to our best friend, partner or family member can brighten up their day so much and shows them that we think about them and that we are happy and grateful for having them in our life. This form of appreciation strengthens our relationship with them.  So be mindful about your words today. The following questions can help you to be aware of your thoughts and actions towards your loved ones. Because the way you act towards others also determine your attitude to life in general and to yourself. Read more about self-love here . So ask yourself: How do I speak to my loved ones? How do I actually think about them? Do I judge them for something they did? Read about forgiveness here . Which feelings might they have? Perhaps are they feeling alone? Which hard times do they need...

Mindful sunday #3

Image
Hello everyone!  You might ask yourself what you could do to be more mindful and to come into the present moment specially when your mind constantly seems to wander. My top one tip is to go outside and just enjoy nature to reconnect to your true self and to let go of everything that no longer serves you.  Let us do an exercise together. Sit or even lay down somewhere outside (of course you should choose a place where you can relax and where you are safe!). It does not matter if the ground is sandy, snowy or however the ground looks like. Make yourself comfortable. Let the arms and legs feel heavy. Then close your eyes and relax your face. Feel the ground underneath you. Feel the parts of your body that are connected to the earth. Does the ground feel warm? Or cold? Hard or soft? Breath and be aware of every little detail. Take your time.  Then open your eyes and look to the sky. Surrender to the clouds. Are they moving fast? Or slow? Which shapes do they have? Try to see ...

Mindful sunday #2

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a nice sunday. I just wanted to share a small quotation with you as a reminder of being mindful, because we want to start the upcoming week with positivity and gratitude! Let go of all events that made you upset to find space in your heart to invite and give love, specially to the persons around you and to yourself! “In the end, just three things matter: How well we have lived How well we have loved How well we have learned to let go” ― Jack Kornfield © Wind of Happiness

Mindful Sunday #1

Image
“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes. All is a miracle.” ― Thich Nhat Hanh Being mindful helps us to realise for what we can be grateful in our daily life. What are you doing sundays to be mindful? To be grateful? What slows you down? Why self-love is the key to true love.

Image
“You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don't know it, all of that doesn't even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It's not like you have forever, so don't waste any of your seconds, don't throw even one of your moments away.” ― C. JoyBell C. This beautiful quotation shows that we need to accept and love ourselves with all imperfections as a result to give value to our life and everything around us, including our loved ones. Only when we know who we truly are, when we forgive ourselves to let go of all negativity and to heal our wounds, when we know our goals and dreams, only then we will be able to invite true love to our life. Many people misunderstand the importance of loving themselves because they think that i...

Why happiness is a commitment with yourself.

Image
Happiness is probably the most important aim in people`s life. But how can we be happy when life is challenging us? When we think we do not have anything to be happy about? When we are struggeling with our relationships, jobs etc.? Well...that is the point. Why do we need to "have" something or achieve things to be happy? Why can we not just be happy because we are living and breathing? The simple truth of being happy is that it is a decision you take. Happiness is a lifestyle. No matter what will come to your life you need to face it with love and acceptance. With gratitude and peace. Spend time with people you love, forgive. Start every day new - with everything! “Take responsibility of your own happiness, never put it in other people’s hands.” ― Roy T. Bennett © Wind of Happiness
