Only when we shine light on our shadows we are able to tranform them

Hello everybody, I hope you are all doing well. I think this is actually the most important post I have ever wrote and something so important to me to share with you. I think the hardest and darkest times in life are crucial to get clearity about ourselves and transform to a better version of ourselves - or better to find the way back to our true self, our essence. Everything that triggers you in life or makes you feel that your loosing control is a strong sign of a wound that isn´t healed yet inside of yourself. So every person or circumstance that comes along your way in life is there in order to reflect your own shadows. Things that make you upset are things you do not want to see about yourself! Things you point your finger on and critize, are actually things you do not want to see in yourself and therefore you also do not want to accept them or you are simply unaware of their existance. We can not change other people and their behaviour but what we can change is how we react to th...

Life is short. I mean how often do we really do the things we really want to do? How often do we really say what we feel? How often do we really show our appreciation and love to others?  How often are we thankful? How often do we show our true soul? How often do we want to help? Do something good for others? Be humble, be kind. Life is mystery. Life is constant change. But life is beautiful. Life is deep. Life is a painting of all our experiences, all our memories. So just let every day be a special day - just remember it could be the last one. If you live this way, you can say in the end - life is a gift. The biggest gift.     © Wind of Happiness

Mindful Sunday #11

Hello everyone, January is almost over but I hope you had a great start into the year 2023! Today I am finally writing another mindful sunday post! “The moment you become aware of the ego in you, it is strictly speaking no longer the ego, but just an old, conditioned mind-pattern. Ego implies unawareness. Awareness and ego cannot coexist.” ― Eckhart Tolle  This quote just reminds me of being aware - aware of your thoughts, aware of your actions, aware of the things you consume and aware of the things and people you spend your time with. I think sometimes we´re all so busy to do our chores - but in this moments we are rarely aware of ourselves. And it´s in this times that we kinda feel disconnected and stressed. We aren´t listening to our inner selves and we quickly get unsatisfied with life. So please, take a step back. Take a deep breath and let your to do`s wait. Let your mind wander and explore your inner self. It doesn´t matter if you take a walk, if you make yours...

Hello everybody! I hope  you are doing weell. Finally I managed to write another post of my "Mindful Sunday series"! This morning I thought about how different the seasons of the year are and which feelings they awake inside me. I think winter is a very peaceful time where I feel cosy to be inside and love to watch the fire and the snow falling. When I go for walks everything around me is very still and it seems like nature is sleeping and resting to have the power to be fully prepared for the next year, for all challenges. In this time I also rest more than normally , I enjoy time around my family and it makes me aware from where I come from. Christmas reminds me a lot of childhood. Spring for me means to discover nature completely new. The smell of the earth, of the sun rays that warm the plants. The evenings that get longer from day to day. I just feel really awake and excited about life. As at the same time spring makes me feel a little melancholy. I love to see the first...

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and save! Today I want to speak with you about why uncertainty is helping us to grow. In relation to this topic I found a beautiful quotation that says: “Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. ...live in the question.” ― Rainer Maria Rilke So, let me remind you that no matter where you find yourself right now, no matter if you go through uncertain times right now or not - it is all there to help you grow which means to get your inner power and courage back in order to then gain personal strenght.  Because only if we go through the darkness, through uncomfort and fear, we will grow. And growth always means as well to fail first but then have the patience to get back and overcome whatever holds you back.  I wish you a delightful and mindful sunday! Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great sunday. Today I want to share with you 3 tips about how you can deepen and strenghten your relationship in your daily life but also in challenging times. 1. Listen to the other person. And with listen I mean that you really take your time and truly listen to the words of the other person. Often we are caught of the stress of our daily lifes and we do not listen anymore to each other. This can cause misunderstandings and provoke unnecessary fights in your relationship. 2. Speak about something important. That can be your plans, dreams and things you love to do but also about your doubt and fears - just anything that is meaningful for you. This helps to create a better understanding for each other. 3. Be kind and show your appreciation & love every day. This will truly connect your hearts together and you will get day by day more grateful for being with that person rather than judge and blame him/her.   © Wind of Happiness  ...

Hello everyone and happy Valentine`s Day! Today it is time to show your loved ones that you value them and that they are truly important for you. Make a little surprise to them. Also show yourself that you are worth it. Do something today you really enjoy. Just enjoy life and do not worry about tomorrow! “You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth.” ― William W. Hello everyone! I wish you all a beautiful weekend. Do you have a place in your house where it looks a little bit empty or a wall where you constantly sitting infront, for example infont of your desk? I just recognized today that it makes a lot of difference if you put some pictures of your loved ones, travels, good moments etc. at that place or even if you add some new ones. It gives motivation and looking at them can revive happy and good moments even in times where we cannot be at our favourite places or with our friends. So why not grab some pictures and pin them at your wall? Always remember that if we focus on the good things and start to be grateful for all beautiful moments we already experienced and truly remember them with our heart we will invite more and more positivity in our daily life and set a positive intention for our tomorrow. “Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.” ― L.M. Hello everyone on this beautiful sunday! I think specially in this time of distance and isolation we should care the most we can about our loved ones even if they are far away. Just making a compliment or a kind word to our best friend, partner or family member can brighten up their day so much and shows them that we think about them and that we are happy and grateful for having them in our life. This form of appreciation strengthens our relationship with them.  So be mindful about your words today. The following questions can help you to be aware of your thoughts and actions towards your loved ones. Because the way you act towards others also determine your attitude to life in general and to yourself. Read more about self-love here . So ask yourself: How do I speak to my loved ones? How do I actually think about them? Do I judge them for something they did? Read about forgiveness here . Which feelings might they have? Perhaps are they feeling alone? Which hard times do they need...

Hello everyone!  You might ask yourself what you could do to be more mindful and to come into the present moment specially when your mind constantly seems to wander. My top one tip is to go outside and just enjoy nature to reconnect to your true self and to let go of everything that no longer serves you.  Let us do an exercise together. Sit or even lay down somewhere outside (of course you should choose a place where you can relax and where you are safe!). It does not matter if the ground is sandy, snowy or however the ground looks like. Make yourself comfortable. Let the arms and legs feel heavy. Then close your eyes and relax your face. Feel the ground underneath you. Feel the parts of your body that are connected to the earth. Does the ground feel warm? Or cold? Hard or soft? Breath and be aware of every little detail. Take your time.  Then open your eyes and look to the sky. Surrender to the clouds. Are they moving fast? Or slow? Which shapes do they have? Try to see ...

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a nice sunday. I just wanted to share a small quotation with you as a reminder of being mindful, because we want to start the upcoming week with positivity and gratitude! Let go of all events that made you upset to find space in your heart to invite and give love, specially to the persons around you and to yourself! “In the end, just three things matter: How well we have lived How well we have loved How well we have learned to let go” ― Jack Kornfield © Wind of Happiness

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes. All is a miracle.” ― Thich Nhat Hanh Being mindful helps us to realise for what we can be grateful in our daily life. What are you doing sundays to be mindful? To be grateful? What slows you down?
