Gratitude - A life long lesson.

Image
Hello everybody, I hope you are all doing well. I just think gratitude is so important to include in our daily life. Gratitude makes us feel alive and happy because we connect with the present moment and with ourselves. Instead of focusing what we do not have and would like to have, we appreciate what is already right in front of us. This way we are able to invite awareness in our life because we take a moment to truly see ourselves and not what is happening around us - we focus on the inside.. With gratitude we learn to accept our past and we let go of the constant necessity to control every situation. We let go of our ego and see ourselves with love and appreciation. We can let go of our shame and regret, we are able to forgive. With gratitude we give life a chance to embrace challenges instead of procrastinate and letting fear rule our life - this let us become a wiser and better version of ourselves. “Be thankful for everything that happens in your life; it’s all an experience.” ...

Mindful Sunday #11

Image
Hello everyone, January is almost over but I hope you had a great start into the year 2023! Today I am finally writing another mindful sunday post! “The moment you become aware of the ego in you, it is strictly speaking no longer the ego, but just an old, conditioned mind-pattern. Ego implies unawareness. Awareness and ego cannot coexist.” ― Eckhart Tolle  This quote just reminds me of being aware - aware of your thoughts, aware of your actions, aware of the things you consume and aware of the things and people you spend your time with. I think sometimes we´re all so busy to do our chores - but in this moments we are rarely aware of ourselves. And it´s in this times that we kinda feel disconnected and stressed. We aren´t listening to our inner selves and we quickly get unsatisfied with life. So please, take a step back. Take a deep breath and let your to do`s wait. Let your mind wander and explore your inner self. It doesn´t matter if you take a walk, if you make yours...

Every goodbye is a new hello.

Hello everyone,  today I went for a walk and I realized how important it is to let go of everything that doesn`t serve you anymore inorder to enter the new year with peace in your hearts, with courage and love. "If you're brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello." — Paulo Coehlo I wish you all a beautiful start into the New Year 2023! Reminder #1: Don`t let yourself hold back from expectations of others.

Image
Hello everybody, today I just want to remember myself and you that we should not let other people an their opinions determine our lifes. Why are we always listening to others what´s good for ourselves? Why are other opinions than ours so important to us? I mean, why do we make ourselves unhappy instead just following our inner voice, follow our dreams? Or at least try to and when we fail, we stand back up again and look for another way to get through. I wish you courage! Be patient with yourselves - and loving! 💗   © Wind of Happiness

How to reduce anxiety. 5 tips

Image
Hello everybody! I hope you are healthy and safe.  Many of us struggle with anxiety, especially in the current time of uncertainty. But anxiety makes us feel helpless and weak and hence tears us away from the present moment. Then we often forget for what we can feel greatful and all our once positive thoughts will disappear in anxiousness. “Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.” ― C. H. Spurgeon So here are my 5 top tips to reduce anxiety: 1. Make yourself clear that you are not your anxious thoughts. Write down everything that makes you feel worried. Like this it gets out of your head and you gonna feel released. 2. Try to take a pause in the moments you are feeling your anxiety. Place your hand at your heart and accept your feelings but tell yourself that everything is alright and that you can feel save. 3. In moments of anxiety try to take deep breaths. Imagine your breath wanders along your body - from your fe...

What nature teaches us - Monday motivation #2

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to a new week! Many researches prove that spending time in nature has a tremendous effect on our mental and physical well-being. Furthermore being in nature makes us more mindful and can so teach us more about ourselves. Through nature we can learn to take a step back from all our stress and see clearly who we are and what we want. “Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” ― John Muir So, whenever you have the opportunities to go for a walk take the chance in order to learn more about yourself! May you be happy and courageous to embrace new adventures!💜  © Wind of Happiness

Life is a precious gift - Monday motivation #1

Image
Life can be hard sometimes. There are happy times - times in which we are flying and in an other very moment there can be dark times - times in which we feel like we are falling. But we should always remember: Life is precious - in every second. It is a gift we are receiving and though we can form and create that gift in a way we want it to be. We can take chances, follow our dreams - we can be honest, kind and love ourselves and others exactly the way they are.  We can be grateful for every day we are living, breathing. Because maybe in this very moment another life is coming to an end. Enjoy life! Show your true YOU to everyone and do not wait for the perfect moment - because the perfect moment is right now!   © Wind of Happiness

Step out of your comfort zone & overcome your fears.

Image
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well! Today I want to speak about a very important topic: Overcoming fears and stepping out of our comfort zone. There are some beautiful quotes that I want to share with you to motivate you and to show you, that sometimes it is not easy at all to leave our comfort zone but that it is definitely always worth it in terms to grow, to get stronger inside and crucial to reach your goals. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain “The comfort zone is a psychological state in which one feels familiar, safe, at ease, and secure. You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.” – Roy T. Bennett “Life begins at the end of your Comfort Zone. So if you’re feeling uncomfortable ri...

Mindful sunday #5

Image
Hello everyone! I wish you all a beautiful weekend. Do you have a place in your house where it looks a little bit empty or a wall where you constantly sitting infront, for example infont of your desk? I just recognized today that it makes a lot of difference if you put some pictures of your loved ones, travels, good moments etc. at that place or even if you add some new ones. It gives motivation and looking at them can revive happy and good moments even in times where we cannot be at our favourite places or with our friends. So why not grab some pictures and pin them at your wall? Always remember that if we focus on the good things and start to be grateful for all beautiful moments we already experienced and truly remember them with our heart we will invite more and more positivity in our daily life and set a positive intention for our tomorrow. “Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.” ― L.M. This yoga pose is super helpful to improve your whole posture (like the tree pose ) and to build up confidence whether in your physical body or in a mental way. The more you practice this pose the stronger y our feet will become and you will also gain more stability in your legs and upper body. How to practice this pose? Come along the length of your yoga mat and stand wide apart with...

Why happiness is a commitment with yourself.

Image
Happiness is probably the most important aim in people`s life. But how can we be happy when life is challenging us? When we think we do not have anything to be happy about? When we are struggeling with our relationships, jobs etc.? Well...that is the point. Why do we need to "have" something or achieve things to be happy? Why can we not just be happy because we are living and breathing? The simple truth of being happy is that it is a decision you take. Happiness is a lifestyle. No matter what will come to your life you need to face it with love and acceptance. With gratitude and peace. Spend time with people you love, forgive. Start every day new - with everything! “Take responsibility of your own happiness, never put it in other people’s hands.” ― Roy T. Bennett © Wind of Happiness
