Mindful Sunday #10

Image
Hello everybody! I hope  you are doing weell. Finally I managed to write another post of my "Mindful Sunday series"! This morning I thought about how different the seasons of the year are and which feelings they awake inside me. I think winter is a very peaceful time where I feel cosy to be inside and love to watch the fire and the snow falling. When I go for walks everything around me is very still and it seems like nature is sleeping and resting to have the power to be fully prepared for the next year, for all challenges. In this time I also rest more than normally , I enjoy time around my family and it makes me aware from where I come from. Christmas reminds me a lot of childhood. Spring for me means to discover nature completely new. The smell of the earth, of the sun rays that warm the plants. The evenings that get longer from day to day. I just feel really awake and excited about life. As at the same time spring makes me feel a little melancholy. I love to see the first...

3 tips how to let go of things that no longer serves you - Monday motivation #3

Image
Hello everybody and happy November! It is incredible how fast time flies. Autumn is the perfect season to let go everything that no longer serves you. Only when you are not afraid of change, you can allow to free yourself of everything that does not bring value anymore or that even make you feel heavy. 1. Write a list with negative and limiting beliefs, emotions or thoughts that do not serve you anymore and burn that list. You will feel so much more free and create space for new things!  2. Declutter your work/living space. Give items away that you did not use the last few months! 3. Do not judge your past. When you identify yourself with your past and painful emotions then you will stay stucked in life and will not embrace growth. Try to change negative habits and replace them with postitive ones! © Wind of Happiness

What nature teaches us - Monday motivation #2

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to a new week! Many researches prove that spending time in nature has a tremendous effect on our mental and physical well-being. Furthermore being in nature makes us more mindful and can so teach us more about ourselves. Through nature we can learn to take a step back from all our stress and see clearly who we are and what we want. “Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” ― John Muir So, whenever you have the opportunities to go for a walk take the chance in order to learn more about yourself! May you be happy and courageous to embrace new adventures!💜  © Wind of Happiness

Mindful sunday #3

Hello everyone!  You might ask yourself what you could do to be more mindful and to come into the present moment specially when your mind constantly seems to wander. My top one tip is to go outside and just enjoy nature to reconnect to your true self and to let go of everything that no longer serves you.  Let us do an exercise together. Sit or even lay down somewhere outside (of course you should choose a place where you can relax and where you are safe!). It does not matter if the ground is sandy, snowy or however the ground looks like. Make yourself comfortable. Let the arms and legs feel heavy. Then close your eyes and relax your face. Feel the ground underneath you. Feel the parts of your body that are connected to the earth. Does the ground feel warm? Or cold? Hard or soft? Breath and be aware of every little detail. Take your time.  Then open your eyes and look to the sky. Surrender to the clouds. Are they moving fast? Or slow? Which shapes do they have? Try to see ...
