The secret of overcoming difficult times - Monday Motivation #4

Hello everyone,

actually when life gets hard, when external situations and routines change, when we go trough personal lows we often get anxious or sometimes even overwelmed. We get lost in negative thoughts, we get tangeled in panic and we just want to have back the feeling of control. 

We start to compare how we felt in the past. Was life better? Easier? Happier? We blame or judge ourselves, we cling to old emotions and memories. Maybe even get a little depressed. Also the feature looks suddenly frightening and unpredictable. How should we manage everything?

And this focus on either the past or the future limits us to actually go through the discomfort, through the pain or fear. We try to suppress and avoid these uncomfortable and painful feelings instead of letting our mind find acceptance and peace with the presence, with reality.

Because the secret of staying strong in difficult times is to face them. To get through them.  Only like this we let go of the resistance of our mind, of the suffering.

I think often we believe that pain is something we should avoid because its something bad or something that makes us feel week and out of control. But only when we are loving and pacience with pain and we are accepting it - it really heals. And also remember - you´re not alone!

Find forgiveness. And be grateful that with every difficulty in life you get to know yourself better and you`re developing inner strengh and wisdom.

Life is a mosaic of good and of bad times but all together it´s life, it´s human experience.
