The secret of overcoming difficult times - Monday Motivation #4

Image
Hello everyone, actually when life gets hard, when external situations and routines change, when we go trough personal lows we often get anxious or sometimes even overwelmed. We get lost in negative thoughts, we get tangeled in panic and we just want to have back the feeling of control.  We start to compare how we felt in the past. Was life better? Easier? Happier? We blame or judge ourselves, we cling to old emotions and memories. Maybe even get a little depressed. Also the feature looks suddenly frightening and unpredictable. How should we manage everything? And this focus on either the past or the future, limits us to actually go through the discomfort, through the pain or fear. We try to suppress and avoid these uncomfortable and painful feelings instead of letting our mind find acceptance and peace with the presence, with reality. If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.” ― Amit Ray Because the secret of staying strong i...

Gratitude - A life long lesson.

Image
Hello everybody, I hope you are all doing well. I just think gratitude is so important to include in our daily life. Gratitude makes us feel alive and happy because we connect with the present moment and with ourselves. Instead of focusing what we do not have and would like to have, we appreciate what is already right in front of us. This way we are able to invite awareness in our life because we take a moment to truly see ourselves and not what is happening around us - we focus on the inside.. With gratitude we learn to accept our past and we let go of the constant necessity to control every situation. We let go of our ego and see ourselves with love and appreciation. We can let go of our shame and regret, we are able to forgive. With gratitude we give life a chance to embrace challenges instead of procrastinate and letting fear rule our life - this let us become a wiser and better version of ourselves. “Be thankful for everything that happens in your life; it’s all an experience.” ...

Mindful Sunday #11

Image
Hello everyone, January is almost over but I hope you had a great start into the year 2023! Today I am finally writing another mindful sunday post! “The moment you become aware of the ego in you, it is strictly speaking no longer the ego, but just an old, conditioned mind-pattern. Ego implies unawareness. Awareness and ego cannot coexist.” ― Eckhart Tolle  This quote just reminds me of being aware - aware of your thoughts, aware of your actions, aware of the things you consume and aware of the things and people you spend your time with. I think sometimes we´re all so busy to do our chores - but in this moments we are rarely aware of ourselves. And it´s in this times that we kinda feel disconnected and stressed. We aren´t listening to our inner selves and we quickly get unsatisfied with life. So please, take a step back. Take a deep breath and let your to do`s wait. Let your mind wander and explore your inner self. It doesn´t matter if you take a walk, if you make yours...

Reminder #1: Don`t let yourself hold back from expectations of others.

Image
Hello everybody, today I just want to remember myself and you that we should not let other people an their opinions determine our lifes. Why are we always listening to others what´s good for ourselves? Why are other opinions than ours so important to us? I mean, why do we make ourselves unhappy instead just following our inner voice, follow our dreams? Or at least try to and when we fail, we stand back up again and look for another way to get through. I wish you courage! Be patient with yourselves - and loving! 💗   © Wind of Happiness

True beauty comes from the inside.

True beauty comes from the inside, radiates from the soul. A smile, a nice action, a listening ear - all this is real beauty. “Beauty is not who you are on the outside, it is the wisdom and time you gave away to save another struggling soul like you.” ― Shannon L. How to reduce anxiety. 5 tips

Image
Hello everybody! I hope you are healthy and safe.  Many of us struggle with anxiety, especially in the current time of uncertainty. But anxiety makes us feel helpless and weak and hence tears us away from the present moment. Then we often forget for what we can feel greatful and all our once positive thoughts will disappear in anxiousness. “Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.” ― C. H. Spurgeon So here are my 5 top tips to reduce anxiety: 1. Make yourself clear that you are not your anxious thoughts. Write down everything that makes you feel worried. Like this it gets out of your head and you gonna feel released. 2. Try to take a pause in the moments you are feeling your anxiety. Place your hand at your heart and accept your feelings but tell yourself that everything is alright and that you can feel save. 3. In moments of anxiety try to take deep breaths. Imagine your breath wanders along your body - from your fe...

What nature teaches us - Monday motivation #2

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to a new week! Many researches prove that spending time in nature has a tremendous effect on our mental and physical well-being. Furthermore being in nature makes us more mindful and can so teach us more about ourselves. Through nature we can learn to take a step back from all our stress and see clearly who we are and what we want. “Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” ― John Muir So, whenever you have the opportunities to go for a walk take the chance in order to learn more about yourself! May you be happy and courageous to embrace new adventures!💜  © Wind of Happiness

How to keep yourself motivated. 5 tips

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! Today I want to speak with you about motivation. I think it is a very big factor in our life in order to live a happy and fulfilled life! So let us start: 1. Write down your goals! But first ask yourself if those goals are made by yourself or by society. Only stick with the goals that are truly coming from yourself and give all your commitment to them. Afterwards you should decide which ones are the most important and categorize them as short- or long-term oriented. 2. Start small! Write down which steps are needed to reach your next goal and what you need to do. Celebrate small success! 3. Write down motivating quotes and hang them up on your fridge, desk, laptop etc. Read them in moments when you are not motivated, when you are doubting or even when you failed. Always remember that failure and regress have the potential to give you more persistence in order to keep fighting for your goals. 4. Focus on your goals but do not forget to enjoy l...

Mindful sunday #9

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and save! Today I want to speak with you about why uncertainty is helping us to grow. In relation to this topic I found a beautiful quotation that says: “Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. ...live in the question.” ― Rainer Maria Rilke So, let me remind you that no matter where you find yourself right now, no matter if you go through uncertain times right now or not - it is all there to help you grow which means to get your inner power and courage back in order to then gain personal strenght.  Because only if we go through the darkness, through uncomfort and fear, we will grow. And growth always means as well to fail first but then have the patience to get back and overcome whatever holds you back.  I wish you a delightful and mindful sunday! With all my love 💛   © Wind of Happiness

Step out of your comfort zone & overcome your fears.

Image
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well! Today I want to speak about a very important topic: Overcoming fears and stepping out of our comfort zone. There are some beautiful quotes that I want to share with you to motivate you and to show you, that sometimes it is not easy at all to leave our comfort zone but that it is definitely always worth it in terms to grow, to get stronger inside and crucial to reach your goals. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain “The comfort zone is a psychological state in which one feels familiar, safe, at ease, and secure. You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.” – Roy T. Bennett “Life begins at the end of your Comfort Zone. So if you’re feeling uncomfortable ri...

Why you should not compare yourself to others.

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Today I want to speak with you about comparison. To compare ourselves to others is one of the most common reasons why we are unsatiesfied with ourselves and our life. We tend to seek for things in the outside that seem to make others happy. But the journey to true joy & happiness is right inside of you. You need to know that: " There will never be anyone exactly like you. You were given special gifts and talents to share with the world, and even though everybody has special gifts and talents, nobody will use theirs quite the same way you do. " – Jen Sincero The truth is that no matter what we will achieve what others are achieving we will never be happy because we need to understand and learn to accept our own needs and especially we need to see our own gifts & talents and use them to accomplish our dreams & goals. So use them...

Why setting boundaries is crucial to live the life you wish for. 2 important reasons

Image
Hello everyone! Today I want to speak with you about setting boundaries and present you two reasons why this is very important to be able to live a happy and fulfilled life. 1. If you say "yes" to everything, to every task someone gives to you at work or in your relationship etc., you will end up overloading yourself with much more work, stress and negative emotions due to the suppressing of your real emotions. If you hold them too long suppressed, it can cause fights, unhealthy relationships and emotional pain. Only if you communicate what you really feel and what you want to do or not, people get to know your emotions and can understand you. Perhaps they were not aware of that before. 2. People gonna take it for granted that you always say "yes". So they will probably treat you with less respect. Step up for yourself and say "no" if you feel like you do not want to do something or if someone does somethings you do not like. With setting boundaries you wi...

Be patient.

Image
“ Our patience will achieve more than our force. ” – Edmund Burke Sometimes we need to be patient. We need to settle our power and energy down and get calm. So calm that we are able to embrace the unknown and stop control whatever there is. We need to learn and especially accept that the future isn`t in our hands.  Only if we trust the process we will find the puzzle pieces we are looking for and we will become one with our biggest dreams. I believe in you! 💚   © Wind of Happiness

Mindful sunday #7

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great sunday. Today I want to share with you 3 tips about how you can deepen and strenghten your relationship in your daily life but also in challenging times. 1. Listen to the other person. And with listen I mean that you really take your time and truly listen to the words of the other person. Often we are caught of the stress of our daily lifes and we do not listen anymore to each other. This can cause misunderstandings and provoke unnecessary fights in your relationship. 2. Speak about something important. That can be your plans, dreams and things you love to do but also about your doubt and fears - just anything that is meaningful for you. This helps to create a better understanding for each other. 3. Be kind and show your appreciation & love every day. This will truly connect your hearts together and you will get day by day more grateful for being with that person rather than judge and blame him/her.   © Wind of Happiness  ...

Why you should not worry anymore what others might think about you.

Image
Hello everyone! I think everyone worries from time to time about what others might think about ourselves. I know it sounds easier than it actually is - but if you keep worrying, you will not be able to enjoy life.   “Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.”—Lao Tzu As long as we want to please others we cannot be truly ourselves. We will always be stuck in our fears, we will not follow the true dreams of our own heart. Free yourself! Let go! Be kind to yourself, be the person you want to be. Because you are the person you will spend the rest of your life with.   © Wind of Happiness

Why compassion towards yourself & others helps you to be happier.

Image
“We are all different. Don’t judge, understand instead.” ― Roy T. Bennett Compassion means to let go of our own way of thinking, to leave our comfort zone behind and try to feel what others feel. Compassion does not mean that we always need to agree with others but it means to at least try understand them. To show our love, to be there if they need us.  Also towards ourselves it is important to let go of expectations and perfectionism. Just imagine you see yourself in the mirrow and you start thinking: "I do not like my body, this part here is too fat etc. Ah - and there is a big spot on my face." You will go along with that negative thoughts of yourself all day - instead of focusing on the positive things like your beautiful hair. That example just simply shows that we will not notice beautiful things, if we are not compassionate with ourselves. In other words: To accept ourselves and others we need to invite love & compassion in order to be content with what ...
