Like the name itself already says we try to keep ourselves strong and balanced in this pose and we connect with the ground underneath like a tree that is connected through its roots. We try to stay upright like a tree no matter how hard the wind is blowing. Even if we are swaying from side to side we stay connected to our origin - to our roots. Which benefits brings us this pose?
